Hi! You’ve inspired me and I’m taking a trip to Iceland in 3 weeks! I have a random question. Did you bring your dyson hair dryer with you? I’m conflicted on which necessities to back and if I need an adapter etc. Any packing advice would be greatly appreciated!

In reply to Taylor Gray. There aren't a lot of hotels in Vik, and this one was the best option in my opinion! Check out the Noken App - they have lots of recommendations beyond what we saw. Have a great trip!

Hi! We just booked a trip to Iceland for mid-December. How was your experience at Hotel Ikria? We booked it for four days given it’s central location. Any additional recommendations around that area? Diamond Beach is a must for us. Anything else?

In reply to Sophia. Not in particular, I just would have enjoyed taking our time through the city instead of rushing. And there were so many places we wanted to eat, but not enough meals in the day
